A haven for two! Enjoy a cosy weekend away in this small, but comfortable, flat in beautiful countryside. The flat is attached to the main house but is completely private with it's own parking area immediately outside the front door. It has recently been refurbished, and is a perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Once your batteries have been re-charged, there is plenty to explore and wonderful walks on your doorstep. We do not have a seating area outside, but there are plenty of walks from the flat, and a lovely walk down to our local pub for supper! We do not accept bookings for less than 2 nights.

We have been living at Waterton Stables for 18 years and have loved being able to enjoy walks on our doorstep, either around nearby fields or through the lovely village of Ampney Crucis. We are up a long drive, away from the road, so it is very quiet. We hope you enjoy your stay in this lovely little flat and have plenty of time to explore the area.

We live just across the road from the village of Ampney Crucis, a lovely village with a beautiful church mentioned in the Domesday Book. There are plenty of walks nearby, as well as fields surrounding us, so it is quiet and peaceful. The local pub has been completely refurbished and serves very good food. It is only a 5 minute walk from us, very useful if you don't feel like cooking.. Cirencester, a wonderful market town, is a 5 minute drive away, with restaurants, pubs, a museum, a lovely outdoor pool, and many shops to choose from. The area has much to offer, including the lakes around South Cerney, where you can water-ski, sail and swim, and there are a wealth of gardens to visit, and old Cotswold towns to wander round. The large cities of Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and Cheltenham are all within an hour and are well worth a visit.
