I loved how beautiful and thoughtful every detail was - from the pre-visit emails to check on our preferences, to the personalised touches including the names of myself and my partner, to the extra care in providing fresh milk on our doorstep every morning. The space was gorgeous, and the staff made an effort to warn us of events taking place the nights of our stay, and took extra care to move us to a room that was further away from the main house to ensure privacy and quiet. Also loved the complimentary breakfast - which goes beyond a continental breakfast and included a full English or even a benedict. My partner even borrowed some of their complimentary wellies on a day that we went for a long walk (which were needed in November in the Cotswolds mind you!) so that was an amazing touch.

We like the room and comfortable bed, the breakfast is very good, the location is easy walk into town, we feel the staff are extremely helpful and great, especially a lady called Emma who worked at the reception desk when we stayed.

Very friendly landlord who was happy to squeeze me in for dinner when I arrived late. The room was perfect - clean and comfortable. I didn't have breakfast and left early but the evening meal was delicious. Free parking just a short walk away.

Quiet, picturesque village. Ideally need a car.

Quiet, picturesque village. Ideally need a car. Cirencester was only a 15 minute drive away and well worth a visit. We ate at La Passione Italian in Cirencester. Exellent food and good value for money. Cirencester is a wonderful town to visit. A lot of good shops and market.
