A cosy and tranquil converted stable in our courtyard, perfect for a weekend getaway among the Welsh countryside. We are close to so many incredible places to visit and are a short drive away to good restaurants, pubs and shops. We provide a freshly made loaf of bread on arrival and milk, butter and home made marmalade & jam. Also tea and coffee. There is also a pub serving good within walking distance.
My husband (Christopher ) and I love having the opportunity to share our wonderful home with guests and making them feel welcome and at ease. It gives us great pleasure when they are happy and appreciative. We are busy planting plants to encourage more bees, birds and butterflies to come to us and we are working hard to keep the garden and fields looking tidy for our guests to enjoy ! We are keen hikers and can recommend some fabulous walks in the nearby Brecon Beacons and surrounding areas including our own fields surrounding the farm ! We live in the main house opposite if you need anything. We like to leave you in peace but also love imparting some local knowledge if required!
Our farmhouse has stunning views over the Monmouthshire countryside - spectacular in every season. We are close to the lovely market towns of Usk, Monmouth and Abergavenny and there are a number of excellent pubs and restaurants nearby. The Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and Wye Valley are all within 45 minutes drive. There are many activities and things to do and see - we have plenty of leaflets on what to do in the Stable and are delighted to help with suggestions. We would recommend having a car but we are walking distance from a bus route between Newport and Monmouth too.
