Cotswold Place is a sympathetically restored townhouse dating back to the c17th. Located in a quiet spot in the heart of Cirencester it not only oozes character but provides high quality accommodation. An idyllic bedroom has a c19th brass bed with a romantically painted headboard, an ultra comfortable Caspar mattress & crisp Soak and Sleep linen. The second bedroom has a single bed and luxury Eve mattress. In the lounge there's a velvet sofa, Persian rug, c18th dining table, interesting antiques and art, plus Sony LED TV, DVD & CD players both with lots of discs, stereo bluetooth and unlimited free wi-fi. Lighting is discrete whilst a log stove (some logs provided) provides a delightful atmosphere. The lounge overlooks Cricklade Street and there is occasional modest street noise. The fully fitted kitchen has extras like a Nespresso, Nutribullet, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The bathroom features loads of hot water, deep-pile towels and quality toiletries. There is no parking at the property but there is plenty locally, either free or at low cost.

We operate three luxury short stay / holiday property properties. Each is of historical and architectural interest and has been individually designed and decorated to the highest standards. Our aim is to keep every guest happy and on all platforms where our properties are offered they have a 5 star rating from previous clients. We do not meet clients individually and we leave free to access and enjoy the property as you wish. However we will always be on hand if there are any issues that need solving quickly.

The apartment is located on a quiet road within a minutes walk of the very heart of historic Cirencester and all of its varied shopping and dining facilities. Much of the town is either pedestrianised or has limited access to cars and central Cirencester is a delightful, calm and historic destination. The colourful market square with the magnificent church is virtually on the doorstep and in the narrow backstreets around the heart of town there are plenty of interesting shops, old pubs, busy cafes and good restaurants. In Roman times, there was a thriving wool industry, and roman ruins can still be visited whilst tombs of medieval merchants can be seen in the church, their fine houses still standing around town. Nearby, country pub dining is available at places like The Wild Duck, Trouble House Inn, Potting Shed and Village Pub Barnsley, all within 10 mins drive. Within half an hour are the widely varied attractions of the entire Cotswold region. The cities of Bath, Bristol & Cheltenham are all within one hours drive.
