Our self catering cottage has a double room with a king size bed and a twin room with 2 single beds, we can offer a cot for babies and a highchair. A welcome pack of tea/coffee/sugars/biscuits and milk If you would like a full welcome pack to include fruit juice/fruit/ bottle of wine/bacon/sausage/eggs/beans/butter/bread this will be at an additional charge, please let us know if you would like us to provide this for your arrival. The cottage has allocated parking space if you require an additional space contact us to arrange this with you the kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay dishwasher/ washer/fridge freezer/microwave/double oven cooker Full central heating ,bath with shower along with separate enclosed shower Patio doors lead onto an enclosed private patio that is a perfect sun trap to relax away with a drink or two 0n the patio , furniture and barbeque if you are feeling like dinning al fresco

We live next door to the property and are always happy to help with things to do and give directions to places to go. We are also here to help you if you have any queries, There is a range of guide books etc in the cottage for our guests use, and we also have a small dvd collection and reading books, we have a compendium of games for guests use

The cottage at the gateway to the Lake District there are various walks nearby and if you would like to bring along you bicycle there are cycle routes and we can arrange to pop these into the garage for you , Kendal has Abbot Hall Gallery, Kendal Castle, Museum of Lakeland Life and Industry, Quaker Tapestry Museum, Sizergh Castle and Gardens, plus a wide range of little shops and pubs. Kendal is only 2.5 miles away. Local pub the Punch Bowl is a 5 minute walk away, or you can visit Romney's who serve a carvery along with a full menu and snacks and have a restaurant a 10 minute drive, or the Strickland arms again about a 7 minute drive. We are only approximately 4 miles from the M6 and Bowness on Windermere about 15 minutes away where you can take a cruise on the Lake or find lots of walks, around the area there is so much to do and fit into your stay.In the other direction the beautiful small town of Kirby Longsdale is about 10 miles away and is the gateway to the Yorkshire dales and beyond
