We are happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via email with all the necessary information to check in at your leisure. Check in is from 4pm, unless one of our early check in options has been purchased. Check out is strictly 10am, unless one of our late check out options has been purchased. Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the key box code 7 days prior to arrival. Lower Largo is a charming coastal village in Fife, known for its long sandy beach, peaceful harbour, and maritime history as the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, the inspiration for Robinson Crusoe. Visitors can enjoy the unique seaside sauna along the Temple at the start of the old railway line, perfect for a relaxing coastal experience. With sweeping sea views and a relaxed atmosphere, the village is ideal for enjoying the shoreline and surrounding scenery. At the centre of village life is The Crusoe, a harbour-side hotel and bar ideal for food, drinks and sunsets, while a short stroll inland brings you to The Railway Bar, a friendly local pub that adds to the village’s warm community feel. Golf enthusiasts are well catered for, with the classic Lundin Links Golf Course just a few minutes away, Leven Thistle nearby, and Dunbarnie Golf Course around a 10-minute drive from the village.
