The Eco House is full of charm and offers spectacular views across Chesil Beach, the Olympic harbour and Weymouth. It is a fantastic location to watch sailboats racing and the sun setting. There is private parking in a garage beside the access gate that climbs up steps through the kitchen garden to the entertaining terrace and front door. Relax in the rocking chair, two reclining chairs and entertain outside around the large picnic table. The well insulated home is powered by solar panels with battery storage and kept warm by a heat pump. There is a football training zone that is fun also for playing bocce ball and badminton. Inside there are games including a table tennis kit that sets up on the dining table, a mini pool table, magnetic darts and board games. There is much to enjoy before retiring to one of the three sea view bedrooms. Well behaved dogs are welcome. A wash down zone is set up with a paw-buddy, hose and towels. The access straight from the house to The Incline is a steep path that leads straight down to the Osprey Leisure Centre with swimming pool and gym and to the beach beside and path to the marina restaurants and the national sailing academy. Or head up and hike around the coastal paths.

I am an Olympic sailor and two-times Olympic sailing coach. My partner, Etienne Stott is London 2012 Olympic Champion in Canoe Slalom. This is our home that we are opening for others to enjoy whilst my son’s schooling takes us to a temporary accommodation an hour away. We absolutely love living here.

The street is a mix of private and social housing. The neighbours are super friendly and they also offer holiday housing for up to 2 people in an attractive cabin they built beside their home. Handy for any parties of 7-8 people to have this additional accommodation option.
