Dreghorn House is a spacious and modern, five bedroom house situated in an high trust location. Our inviting kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and utensils, perfect for foodies! The house has been completely transformed and underwent a refurb into a beautiful, bright and welcoming home located in the affluent village of Colinton, rich in history with easily accessible public transport and only 10 mins from Rosslyn Chapel. The space The property consists of 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, living room and kitchen + dining room with a downstairs bedroom and toilet Upstairs has 1 double bedroom with a king size bed and 1 king size room with ensuite. Another single bedroom and further bedroom with a set of bunk beds and 1 single bed. Travel Cot is Available on Request. 1 bathroom with electric shower and bath. The ensuite is equipped with a powerful gas shower. The living room has reclining chairs and smart TV with applications such as: Netflix + Youtube etc. The property also has super fast wifi, great for working from home and streaming online platforms. The downstairs living room enters to an additional space that has a sofa bed. Of the kitchen we have a half bathroom/utility closet. This has a washer and dryer for our guest's use along with a drying rack and iron board if needed. We have a fantastic kitchen with underfloor heating and electrical appliances. Double ovens, microwave, gas hob and a selection of teas and coffee. We have an American fridge freezer with an additional small fridge will contain a few groceries to ensure a kickstart to your stay - milk, butter Quality olive oil will be available for your cooking as well as coffee pods for the machine. If our guests have any special requirements, we advise that they contact us prior to booking and allow us to put measures in place prior to booking & arrival. Otherwise, guests may be left disappointed.

My name is Lisa. I have lived in Edinburgh all my life and enjoy many things including the outdoors, lots of different sports and exercise! I enjoy travelling and have visited over 15 nations (and on-going!) throughout my life. I am responsible for hosting our family home out to guests who wish to visit our wonderful city of Edinburgh. I will do everything I can both before and during your stay to meet your expectations. Colinton Village is located in the south, west of Edinburgh, which has been around since circa 1090 where Ethelred son of Malcolm III and Queen Margaret (Edinburgh Castle) built a church. The house is seconds away from Dreghorn Barracks which was built in 1937–1939 and adjacent to the Edinburgh City Bypass. Colinton has small speciality shops and many original buildings remaining intact. It is surrounded by the Pentland Hills with plenty of beautiful hill-walking as well as a Ski Slope by Swanston. 10 minutes for both town and the airport. Great neighbours and very private with good access into town and the bypass with 3 supermarkets, Starbucks 0630am, 24 hour Petrol Station near by. Waitrose and M&S are 10 minutes drive. We have a 24 Hour bus service into town which is directly outside our property. Times are all documented online so you know exactly when the bus will arrive and when the bus departs.
