Eddies is a lovely coastal retreat right next to popular Hele Beach, on the outskirts of Ilfracombe, North Devon. It is a three bedroom house with front patio overlooking the promenade and beach, and has a private enclosed patio for dining to the rear. We fully renovated the house in July 2020, update the decor regularly and have finished it lovingly with coastal inspired features.

Shaun and Mel live accross the street in one of the cottages opposite. Having grown up in Hele, Shaun is truly a local and can help with many queries about the local area. In between welcoming guests, friends and family, and walking the dog, feeding the chickens etc, Shaun is a part time lobster fisherman. They both work locally, and the couple have a small flock of sheep with one of the neighbours.

Eddies is ideally placed for walkers on the south west coast path route and overlooks Hele Beach which is a family friendly sandy and rocky beach. There is free on-street parking, and on the few occasions that the road is full, there is a low cost car park approx. 80 meters to the side of the property. The Bay Café opposite serves breakfast and lunch, hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice cream. There is a well serviced grocery store in the petrol station opposite the entrance to Beach Road and the nearest pub is the Hele Bay Pub, at that same end of Beach Road.
