Nestled between not one but two amazing popular surf beaches, on the edge of the coast path, and a stones throw from the town centre with it’s mix of independent Artisan shops. In contrast the ground level hosts The Edge Bar, a hive of activity for families, friends and locals to come together for fab food and drinks. Bude has so much to offer, from History & Geology, to Arts & Crafts and outdoor activities such as surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, of course for the less extreme, there is more serene activities such as hiking and nature watching. We have easy access to the Atlantic highway, the A39 so you can easily explore up and down the county if you want to explore further afield.

The Edge Of The Beach is the latest acquisition of the Daniel family, who also own The Beach Hotel situated just two doors away; as well as many stunning self catering properties in the area. Since purchasing the property in July 2025, they have really put their stamp on the communal areas; luxurious and modern with a nod to the original Victorian style.

The Edge Of The Beach is located in a quiet crescent at the top of the Bude town. It overlooks the open space of the sand dunes, the cliffs that form part of the coast path, the beach and the Atlantic ocean and Beach. It is a 2 minute easy walk to the town centre. Bude is a traditional town with good quality seaside gift shops as well as clothing and surf shops. Outdoor activities are plentiful, with circular walks, cycling, surfing, golf, tennis, bowls and horse riding on the doorstep.
