The beach and the beach walk, cafes and restaurants, supermarkets and transport links make the location a fantastic option. Our home is an Edwardian era stone house on 3 floors. Some rooms have sea views. Each of our rooms has either an en-suite or an in room shower and wc or a shower room next to the room. There is a guest dining room/lounge with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. There is free on street parking in the nearby streets. Taxis and Ubers are plentiful and take around 15 minutes from city centre and buses are frequent and take around 25 minutes from the city centre. There are many nearby cafes and bakeries for breakfast lunch or dinner. There are 2 supermarkets within 6 minutes walk. Please note there is a friendly resident cat, Master Whisper and that there are security cameras on the premises.
We are a multigenerational family living in the house and would be delighted to guide you towards exploring Edinburgh and finding the events that you want to attend. There is free wifi throughout the house. Please note that we have security cameras on the premises. Please note we have cats on the premises so guest pets are not permitted.
Portobello is Edinburgh’s seaside suburb. There is a very cute high street with bakeries, cafes, supermarkets, hairdressers, ice cream parlours. The Portobello beach walk is beautiful especially at sunrise or sunset. The sandy beach is very appealing.
