Known for its beautiful scenery, the area also boasts excellent sporting and recreational opportunities all year round. These include high quality driven and walked up grouse and game shooting, first class pheasant and partridge shooting, red, roe and fallow deer stalking, and salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Tay and River Almond. Clay pigeon and rough shooting can be organised by the estate on request. Please contact the Estate Manager to make arrangements. The town of Perth is just 12 miles away with good shopping, restaurants, sports centres and a theatre and concert hall. Road connections are excellent with nearby motorway access to the cities of Edinburgh (57 miles) and Glasgow (64 miles). Perth train station offers regular services to Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London (including the Caledonian Sleeper service) and Perth airport offers private air travel.
