The space A furnished bell tent pitched within the 28-acre grounds of Homestall Manor, a Grade II* listed medieval and Tudor estate in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, West Sussex. The estate dates to the 14th century and sits within formal gardens, woodland, and open meadow. Glamping guests have access to the lake and the surrounding estate grounds. Guest access You have full access to your furnished bell tent, two all-weather tennis and pickleball courts, the estate gardens, lake, and walking trails and outdoor pool(coming soon). Shared washroom facilities with hot showers. The wider manor house is privately occupied and not included in your stay. Other things to note Washrooms are shared between glamping guests and cleaned twice daily. Meals are not included, but the village of Ashurst Wood is a 10-minute walk with a pub, shop, and post office. East Grinstead town centre is 3 miles away. Walking trails into Ashdown Forest begin directly from the estate. We have a dedicated kids corner on site with a sandbox, a wooden playhouse with slide, and colouring books and crayons to keep little ones happy while you relax. Families are very welcome. Retreat weekends run on selected dates throughout summer on an adults only basis. Please check availability before booking if you are travelling as a group.

Fit in the Wild sits within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one of the most unspoilt landscapes in the South East of England. The estate borders Ashdown Forest, the ancient woodland that inspired A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh stories, with walking and hiking trails accessible directly from the property. The village of Ashurst Wood is a 10 minute walk and has a traditional pub, a village shop, and a post office. East Grinstead is three miles away and offers a wider range of cafes, restaurants, independent shops, and supermarkets. The town also has a direct train service to London Bridge and Victoria, making the retreat easily accessible from the capital. Nearby attractions include Sheffield Park and Garden (a National Trust property with stunning landscaped grounds), Bluebell Railway (a heritage steam railway running through the Sussex countryside), Wakehurst (Kew's country garden), and the historic market town of Tunbridge Wells, around 12 miles away. For those who enjoy outdoor pursuits, the area offers excellent cycling routes, horse riding, and some of the best walking in the South East.
