We have owned the Florian since June 2007 and have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Property info

The Florian is over 130 years old. Built originally for a wealthy fish merchant in Weymouth. Most of the house still has a number of original features, high ceilings, impressive staircase and beautiful marble fireplace in the sitting room and the ground floor family room. There is free, but limited, parking for guests. Guest rooms are recently decorated with a seaside theme and have kitchenettes where a light breakfast, snack or picnic can be prepared. There is a laundry room for guests to use free of charge. There is a one bed flat available.

Neighborhood info

Within 5 minutes walk you have an Asda, 3 convenience stores, 2 hairdressers, nails & facials salon and Pharmacy. There are lots of pubs & eateries in the town centre (10-15 mins walk) and buses to town pass the door every 5-10 minutes. The Jurassic Coast bus also stops at the door and will take you all the way to Lyme Regis. Great for guests without a car.
