Nottington is a village sits just outside Weymouth and historically used to possess a Spa and was therefore popular with the aristocracy, who flocked there to drink the water, claimed to be of benefit for eruptive complaints and loss of appetite. What remains of this time today is the pump room which is known as the Spa house. Just 3 miles from the Georgian seaside town of Weymouth, this village is perfect for those wanting to explore South Dorset.
