Fox's Lair is set on a mountainside, three miles away from Aberdovey. The beautiful lodge is perfect for a getaway, weather you want to base yourself in the general area or just get away from it all. The lodge is one bedroomed and has a very well equipped kitchen complete with large fridge freezer and dishwasher! There is a sofa-bed in the lounge area giving the option to sleep an extra 2 people. The lounge has a SMART TV for guests to enjoy - you are able to stream this through the internet on your phone. To the side of the lodge is a beautiful garden area with stunning views just a few steps away from the patio doors... Please be aware that that the water supply to the lodge is not suitable for drinking as it comes from a private water system and can at times be discoloured. We do provide drinking water for our guests to use. The electricity supply is provided via a meter - this takes one pound coins. We do top the meter up ready for guests to arrive. Tywyn and Machyllneth are both easily accessible from this location.
We have two lodges in Aberdovey - We are experienced hosts and accessible to our guests should they need any additional information.
There are plenty of places to eat in the local area, Aberdovey Beach and Tywyn beach are a short drive away and offer a variety of watersport in the summer months. As we are located in the popular Snowdonia National Park, there are plenty of mountains and landmarks to explore and guests who like walking or hiking will be spoiled for choice - of particular note is the Cader Idris Mountain Range. Aberdovey Golf course is three miles away.
