Expect a warm welcome in the hill at our modernised cosy stone cottage close to the Afon (river) Artro and enjoy the mountain views from your own private garden terrace. We are located in Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri National Park and within easy reach of lovely sandy beaches, hill and mountain walks, various castles, Portmeirion and the Ffestiniog and Ucheldir (Highland) railways. Please note that we have private water that is treated (UV lamp and two stage filtration) on our property making it safe to drink.
We enjoy meeting different people and helping guests get the best of their stay with us.
Garth Engan is situated 2 miles up the valley of Cwm Bychan from the busy little village of Llanbedr. The road to the lake at Cwm Bychan does turn into a single car lane for half a mile or so before you get to our B&B but with plenty of passing places. Llanbedr has three popular public houses, 1 shop, a cafe, bicycle hire shop, adventure company, river for canoeists and easy access to beaches an castles.
