Listed Georgian 2nd floor apartment with beautiful view over the cobbled square in Kelso. Totally renovated in 2021. As with any town centre there can be a little noise at turning out time but the bedrooms are at the back of the property away from the Square. There are 2 flights of stairs to the flat and no lift, so the property may not be suitable to less mobile guests.
Welcome to the Scottish Borders - we are keen walkers, runners and cyclists and this a perfect spot for those activities.
Town centre location with independent shops, pubs, restaurants & supermarkets. Kelso Farmers Market is held in the Market Square, Kelso on the 4th Saturday of each month of the year (except July and December when the week changes to suit civic week and Christmas respectively). Wallaceneuk parkrun, 9.30 every Saturday morning is 1.4m away. Lovely rolling Borders landscape with ancient Abbeys, riverside walks and Floors Castle just a short drive away. Berwick-upon-Tweed (35 min) and the Northumberland coast (50 mins) are within easy reach. Tweedbank Railway station (25 min) has large free car park and is an ideal way to visit Edinburgh.
