Our farmhouse dates from the 1850′s but we have completely renovated it in 2011, maintaining plenty of ‘olde worlde’ charm while utilising all the latest technologies. Each room in the farmhouse and our two bedroom cottage have been uniquely and artistically styled with an en-suite wet room, toiletries, free WiFi, TV, quiet fridge and hair dryer. The guests staying in one of our 3 guest rooms in the farmhouse can share our kitchen to cook and eat at our table for their meal.
We moved to this part of the country because it is fantastic for our 3 horses, they really enjoy the freedom of being in the field all year round. We love to horse ride and cycle and this is a fantastic environment to do both activities. This year we have acquired some electric bicycles, riding these bikes will make you feel 20 years younger! We will start hiring the bikes out from Easter 2016.
Our Farmhouse is situated in the Clwydian Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As the name suggests, this range of heather-clad hills and limestone cliffs is certainly outstanding… and incomparably beautiful. Excellent walking, cycling and off road horse riding are available on our doorstep, please ask us for details of our favourite trails. Fishing, paragliding and several 18-hole golf courses are all within a few miles. If you wish you can rent out one of our excellent electric bikes that will allow you to discover the area by pedal power while deciding how much effort you want to put in.
