Peaceful and quiet location with very friendly hosts who were on hand if we needed any help with anything. Clean and tidy plus it was nice and warm with the heater on. Couldn't fault the cabin at all.

Clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, and a well-equipped kitchen with essentials like milk, coffee, and tea. Mold was a wonderful place for a peaceful family break.

Mold was a wonderful place for a peaceful family break. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, there is plenty to explore nearby, and the whole area felt calm and relaxing. We enjoyed our time so much that the trip felt far too short, and we would happily return for a longer stay.

A little country village just outside Chester.

A little country village just outside Chester. Nice pub , The Yacht and also another which we didnt try but looked alright. Staying in a self contained unit we had to get food etc and found this easy as the village has good resources, both supermarket and takeaways.

Nice atmosphere to Yr Wyddgrug, folks seemed pleasant. Couple of surprise historic locations, with excellent info boards dotted around. Nice restaurants, didn't get chance to look around the shops.

Mold is a small town and has a market on Wednesdays.

Mold is a small town and has a market on Wednesdays. A small market but some nice stalls and shops . We went to Mr Fish for fish and chips take out one evening, a bit greasy and would have been nice to be offered them on trays. Mel’s Cafe nearly opposite Wetherspoons is a good place for grub

I don't know if I actually saw Mold. We were visiting a friend in Buckley and chose the hotel because it was within walking distance of her house. The area that the hotel was in was pretty non-descript.

We didn’t like anything about our stay.

We didn’t like anything about our stay. I booked a deluxe room and was fobbed off with a tiny room which was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The shower dripped really loudly. We couldn’t control the radiators so the room was boiling. We did get moved to a room which was what I had booked originally in the end but again it was filthy and crawling with bugs. The carpets and walls were stained with something. The shower or tv didn’t work, we had no toiletries in the room and had to ask for toilet roll. The entire place looks like it is just a hostel for anybody, there were random people round about the hotel who were generally weird and didn’t seem like guests at all. There’s no facilities at the hotel even though it states online that the renovations are complete, there’s no bar or restaurant or amenities so there’s nowhere to eat or drink. Overall the stay was awful and we even had to phone booking.com to help us get back into the place at the night time because no info was given when we checked in and there is never anybody at the reception to answer our question. I definitely wouldn’t be staying there here again. The place is absolutely disgusting in terms of cleanliness.

Beautiful, clean property. The decor is superb, magnificently soft carpet so take your shoes off! Very quiet location perfect for us to visit family living near Mold. We used a taxi to/from the town, between £12/15. In the evening we ordered in a takeaway which was quick to arrive. The menu was in the kitchen draw. We did also cook.. all utensials were there including a great air fryer. This place is perfect for a couple. Talked to the neighbour who was very charming.

Hafan Fach is a compact and comfortable accommodation. It has all the facilities required for a week's stay, including a good-sized kitchen with a washing machine and multiple cooking options (hob, microwave and air fryer). Location is excellent, a short walk from the town centre of Mold, which provides all the facilities you may need and some interesting points of interest to explore. Contact with the owners was excellent and helpful.

please do not use this hotel I had to stay here for four nights with work. the place was not the best at all but then it got use the second night we found that the hotel had been used for immigration. we was kept up all night and did not feel safe. we left and had to go somewhere else

Lovely little village with a play area down the road if you have children and only 10 minutes from Mold. The accommodation was spotless and loads of space for us all both inside and outside.
