The perfect location for a gathering of family and friends in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, North Wales. This charming 15th century building has been welcoming guests for over 700 years, since the Knights Hospitallers established a medieval grange here. The ideal base for adventures exploring North Wales' stunning landscape and attractions, or a cosy hideaway for a few days spent relaxing by the fire.

Gwanas Fawr is a 16th century property in the foothills of Cadair Idris. The holiday cottages are surrounded by our small cut flower farm supplying local florists and hotels with Welsh flowers.

Situated down a farm track and over a small bridge the entrance is through a private gate and up the drive to an old tennis court where there is ample space to park. Although wonderfully secluded Gwanas Fawr is within easy reach of everything Eryri (Snowdonia) and the Mawddach Estuary has to offer. The market town of Dolgellau is only 4 miles away.
