Halsons was built in the early 1800s and is built mainly of flint. The house is tucked away down a small lane ,easily accessible from the main A35 , surrounded by stunning countryside ideal for walkers. Golden Cap , the highest point on the south west coast path , is a walk away . We are in an area of outstanding natural beauty and are close to the World Heritage Jurassic coastline The apartment is accessible via French doors in the garden. There is a terrace/decking area with outside furniture and a bbq . This area has lovely garden views. On the ground floor is the open plan kitchen living and dining room and upstairs is the bedroom, bathroom and walk in wardrobe. The bedroom has stunning views of Golden Cap and Stonebarrow. We have underfloor heating downstairs and radiator heating upstairs. The kutchen is fully fitted with oven hob, microwave fridge and dishwasher. There is free parking on our driveway.

Having successfully opened and run Halsons Bed and Breakfast for the last 6 years we decided we needed a change and the house needed it’s final renovation. So we have built and created the Haven. We hope our new venture will also be a success and will give us more time for family friends and our interests .

The Haven at Halsons is located in Morcombelake just off the A35 between the market town of Bridport and the seaside town of Lyme Regis. The Symondsbury wedding venue is a shirt drive awayWe are in an area of outstanding natural beauty and close to the World Heritage Jurassic coastline. West Bay, featured in the TV series Braidchurch is a shirt drive away. Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast of Britain is a walk away and can be seen from some rooms in the house. Hardown Hill, Golden Caps parent peak, is directly behind us. We are surrounded by public footpaths and bridle ways , ideal for walkers . There are beautiful beaches all along the coastline. Morcombelake is a small village famous for the Moores Biscuit factory. Bridport is a bustling market town which hosts a number of festivals throughout the year. As well as high street stores there are a large number of individual artisan shops and an antique area. There is a twice weekly market, theatre and cinema, Lyme Regis is a beautiful seaside town with a stunning beach and small harbour. The town has a large number of indivifpdual artisan shops, bars and restaurants, museums and a theatre,
