***OUR HOME*** Our home, Hopewell, is a BEAUTIFUL DETACHED VICTORIAN HOUSE in the heart of Cliftonville. It's large 4 bedroom house, with 3 guest bedrooms. We are located on the desirable Madeira Road, 1 minute from Northdown Road, 5 minutes from the beach and 10 mins to Margate Old Town. *** THE ROOMS *** Each of our Unique rooms are decorated tastefully and the whole house has recently been renovated. Featuring comfortable beds, duvets to suit the time of year of your stay, hairdryers and irons in all rooms. All of our rooms feature tea and coffee making facilities (including oatmilk!) and we have a proper coffee machine available for your use in the Kitchen. All of our rooms have luxurious private bathrooms, Walpole is en-suite and Palm and Botany both have their own separate bathrooms across and down the hall. *** OUR BATHROOMS *** All of our bathrooms feature powerful showers and softened water for the best shower in town! We've just finished renovating the house, so all of our bathrooms are luxurious, clean and warm, some featuring underfloor heating! *** DRINKS *** We have complimentary Tea and Coffee available in all rooms, with a proper coffee machine in the kitchen that you are welcome to use. We offer complimentary filtered water which you can refill as needed. ***THE POOL *** The POOL we refer to in our listing is the famous WALPOLE SEA POOL, the largest TIDAL POOL in the UK! It's a short walk away at our local beach, away from the crowds of the Margate Main Sands.

ADY & SAM are your hosts, Ady is a handyman and Sam is a Pilates teacher. We live at the property, along with 2 FRIENDLY CATS, so you need to be happy that they may be around during your stay! We have extensive knowledge of Margate and the surrounding area, and we're always happy to advise on what's going on and where to go! Please remember that we are a small Guest House, and not a full service hotel! This is our home so please treat it with respect.

Cliftonville is a buzzy part of Margate, with a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants close by, with great access to the beach at Walpole Bay. Madeira road is a quite residential street, sitting between the beach and the park, easily walkable to Margate Old town and all of the attractions that has to offer. Walpole bay has the UK's largest tidal swimming pools and and the beach is usually much quieter than Margate Main Sands. Further along the coast you have Palm Bay, followed by Botany Bay, one of the most picturesque beaches in the area.
