Inveruglas farm cottage is one of our self catering holiday cottage situated on the banks of Loch Lomond. Our self catering holiday cottage sleeps five, with three bedrooms (two double rooms and one single) ideal for a family holiday or a group of friends who enjoy the outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen features a large farmhouse dining table with views to the loch and Inveruglas Isle. Within the spacious sitting room, which also commands views to the loch, there’s a traditional wood burning stove and TV. A supply of logs can be included in your stay. From the patio & picnic table in the garden you can enjoy the stunning loch side views, as well as private loch side access with a minutes walk to the bonnie banks.
The cottage is just north of Tarbet on the A82. So it’s the ideal location to explore the north end of the loch and in particular perfect for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. From the cottage guests have direct access on foot to the hill track, which leads to the Arrochar Alps. Ben Vorlich, Ben Vane, Beinn Ime, Ben Arthur, Ben A’Chrois and Ben Narnain are all accessible on foot from the cottage. The cottage is also situated at the start or finish of the Cowal Way & the Three Lochs Way. As well as the popular circular walk, the Glen Loin Loop which also passes through the farm. Loch Sloy hydro scheme sits in the middle of the farm, which was built in the 1940’s. The dam is within walking distance from the cottage and is a spectacular feat of engineering.
