Orion Holidays was founded 25 years ago by the owner, Mark Thomas. It is an independent, family-run, holiday cottage lettings business based centrally within the Cotswold Lakes region close to Cirencester. Mark and his friendly team's expert knowledge of the area, plus his close and long-standing relationship with many of the other local businesses, activity providers and suppliers, has played a key role in the growth and success of the business. Today with over 60 holiday homes under management and 25 years of supporting, our locally based team are passionate about sharing their love for this area of outstanding natural beauty and helping our guests have a wonderful holiday in the area.

The New England style lakeside holiday lodges are positioned around three natural, reed edged lakes, located within the Cotswold Lakes. Isis & Windrush Lakes is a private and beautifully landscaped holiday home development. It is a lovely family-friendly location to relax by the lakes and also offers a wide range of on-site activities for all ages. The fishing is excellent with well stocked trout and carp Lakes. On-site facilities include three all-weather tennis courts (one floodlit), a children’s adventure playground, football area, croquet, boules, table tennis and an indoor games room including table football & pool table. Windrush Lake is good for water fun as you can take out your own paddle board, kayak or canoe. Look out for the plentiful wildlife and wildfowl too. The Local Area Isis & Windrush Lakes are well located centrally within the Cotswold Lakes. Nearby, various lakes offer a wide range of water sports and fun activities. There some great local visitor attractions, country pubs, restaurants and lakeside cafe's. Located just over the road is The Gateway Cafe & Bar with an excellent pizza takeaway, the De Vere Cotswolds Hotel has the ‘Boathouse’ restaurant, bar and luxury spa facilities. The Lakeside Bar & Brasserie on Spring Lake is ideal to watch the waterskiing and inflatable rides. The local village of South Cerney is a short drive away with good local pubs, takeaways and local convenience shops. There are many well marked footpaths, walks and cycle trails that take you through the very heart of the Cotswold Lakes and nature reserves. The popular market town of Cirencester, is close by and further afield are many other popular Cotswolds villages and towns.
