We really enjoy hosting and helping people have a nice, easy break by the seaside. There’s nothing better than knowing families can come away, relax and just enjoy time together without any stress. We love Clacton ourselves – especially the beach, arcades and just getting out for a walk and a bit of fresh air – so it’s nice being able to share that with others. our Caravan is a classic model and What makes our place a bit different is that it’s genuinely set up like a home, not just somewhere to sleep. We’ve tried to think about the little things that make a stay easier, especially for families. The caravan is in a really handy spot on the park, Less than 1 Minuite walk to the main entertainment and facilities, so you’re not trekking back and forward all day. At the same time, it’s tucked away enough to feel relaxed and comfortable in the evenings. Inside, it’s cosy and practical rather than flashy – everything you need is there, from a fully equipped kitchen (including air fryer, microwave and cooker) to a comfy lounge with TV with fire-stick and free WiFi. It’s ideal for nights in after a busy day out. We also try to make guests feel welcome by keeping things simple and flexible. Check-in is straightforward with a key safe, and we’re always on hand if you need anything or have questions before or during your stay. It’s the kind of place where you can just arrive, settle in and feel comfortable straight away, whether you’re coming for a family break, a short getaway or a last-minute trip to the seaside.

Guests love the area because everything is so easy and family friendly. The caravan is based at Parkdean Highfield Grange, which has loads going on including entertainment, a restaurant, arcade, swimming pool and activities, all within a short walk. the park has just undergone a 5 Million Pound Refurbishment offer lots for families to do. Clacton-on-Sea itself is only a few minutes drive away and is great for a proper seaside day out – sandy beach, the pier, arcades, fairground rides and plenty of places to eat. It’s ideal for families with kids or even just a chilled walk along the seafront. There are also local supermarkets, takeaways and restaurants nearby, so you’ve got everything you need without travelling far. If you fancy exploring a bit more, you’ve got places like Frinton-on-Sea for a quieter beach, and Colchester not too far away for shopping, the zoo and a bit of history. Overall it’s a really good mix of lively seaside fun and relaxed surroundings, which is why people keep coming back
