Keeper's Lodge is situated in a secluded rural location adjacent to Stansted Country Estate within the South Downs National Park. A purpose built modern and spacious open plan ground floor apartment with direct access to a pretty private patio garden and lawn. This is an intimate,secluded spot, no big panoramic views but you won't have to travel far to experience one. Beautifully designed and appointed with comfort in mind. A pet friendly home from home with a hint of hotel luxury. The perfect location for walkers, cyclists and animal lovers to explore the countryside. A multitude of footpaths are available from your doorstep. Well behaved dogs are very welcome and will be spoilt as much as their owners. If you are bringing your dog you must advise us when making your booking. We permit a maximum of two small dogs or one medium/large dog (no bigger than a Labrador), a strict maximum of two dogs per booking. Please be aware your dog must never be left unaccompanied in the apartment or garden and excessive noise will not be tolerated. We provide spacious parking with the added security of electric gates to give you extra peace of mind. Sadly we are currently unable to offer charging for electric vehicles but can direct you to nearby charging facilities. Keeper's Retreat (first floor apartment, see listing) is also available should you wish to holiday with friends.

I am Nicky and together with my husband Peter we love sharing this beautiful location and everything it has to offer with our guests, both the two and four legged variety. I have lived in this area all my life and Keeper's Lodge is located adjacent to our home of over twenty years. We are perfectionists at heart and do our best to get everything just right. From the welcoming home made cakes to the beautifully made bed and pretty planting in the patio garden. We enjoy the many scenic walks in the area and can direct you to all the best places including the hidden gems popular with the locals. We make sure we are available to answer any questions during your stay enabling you to make the most of your visit.

This lovely rural location is deceptively close to so many attractions. A perfect location for all the Goodwood events, Cowdray Polo, Southampton Boat Show, Portsmouth, Chichester and the many coastal villages and historic towns in West Sussex and Hampshire. The local train station ( 2 miles from our location) gets you to London in just over an hour. We are situated within the South Downs National Park and surrounded by many National Trust properties and places of historic interest. If you want to escape to the countryside you will find a haven for cyclists and walkers alike. We provide a perfect base for exploring all the South Coast has to offer.
