Welcome to Kersmains, our family farm run by my husband, Simon and myself, Ashley. Choose between our two self catering properties- The Lodge which sleeps 6, and The Bothy which sleeps 2. The Lodge is the ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing countryside break with family and friends. With 3 large and spacious bedrooms, a beautiful country kitchen, private dining room as well as 2 bathrooms and even a welly boot room and log burning stove, you really will be very well looked after here. The Bothy is our sumptuous boutique studio for two with library lounge, plush kingsize bedroom with en-suite and large kitchen/conservatory overlooking the farmhouse garden. Just 3 miles from the quaint cobbled town of Kelso with plenty of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants there is plenty to go out and explore. Our farm also sits on the Borders Abbey Way- a stunning countryside walking route which you just must experience! We love to show our guests around the farm and let them watch all the busy goings on during harvest time, ploughing and sowing so please do ask if you would like to come out and see the working farm! Simon and I run the farm here at Kersmains but also love golfing, horse riding and getting out into the beautiful countryside that we are so lucky to be surrounded by.

Kelso and the Scottish Borders is a haven for visitors with beautiful countryside, unique towns and villages and so many things to see and do. Have fun at Kelso Races, explore the ancient abbeys or take a trip round Floors Castle- Scotland's largest inhabited castle and all just minutes from Kersmains. The cycling here is second to none too and we are also very proud to now host Scotland's very first, and only micropub- Rutherford's in Kelso.
