Newly refurbished detached 5-bedroom house situated immediately opposite the dunes at Camber Sands. Exceptionally large enclosed plot with different areas laid with Indian sandstone, decking and lawn featuring Hot Tub, outdoor kitchen dining area for 10 persons and a children’s pirate ship play area to the rear. Elegant antique Indian decor throughout.
We live near to Rye. We moved here for the beautiful countryside, beaches and ancient towns like Rye. I live nearby in Rye so am generally on hand in case of issues or questions.
The house is a few minutes walk from The Owl for excellent pub food. For walking you're surrounded by great places around Camber including Winchelsea, Rye Harbour, Dungeness, the Romney Marshes and the surrounding Wealden countryside. The local beaches including Camber have large dog friendly areas. Rye town is a largely unspoilt gem of a small cinque port. The town boasts an eventful calendar all-year round. Famous annual events include Rye jazz festival, wild boar week, scallop week, Rye bonfire, Christmas markets and more. Rye has a variety of independent shops, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Rye is also noted for its antique and home furnishing shops. Guest can walk (approx 1.5hrs) or cycle (approx 30mins) from Camber to Rye. There is a bike stand for locking guests bike at the front of the house. Bikes are not provided. There are buses and taxis but travel by car is recommended.
