The Kings Head Inn is a 300 year old building which is family run and opened in 2014 after extensive refurbishments throughout. We have accommodation above the pub, cottages alongside the car park and a family lodge. We have special measures in place due to the current situation which include a one way system in and out of the building, masks to be worn at all times other than when you are seated, we have various sanitize stations points, we are only operating table service to prevent large crowds of people in one place and all our staff are wearing masks and being a cautious as possible. As we have put all of these safety measures in place we still offer a warm, bubbly and friendly welcome.

All rooms non-smoking. 10 minute walk to Rye town centre, stooped in history and extremely beautiful historic town The surrounding area is blessed with a wealth of local suppliers enabling our chefs to take advantage of the wonderful local ingredients, including fresh fish from Rye Bay. The menu is seasonally inspired, good, honest wholesome pub food with changing specials to tantalise your taste buds! The kitchen is happy to cater for all kinds of dietary requirements and given enough notice, will design dishes to suit all guests’ needs. Relax in one of the nine newly refurbished bedrooms, each uniquely designed. 7 of our rooms can be twins if required, family rooms available too. All individually furnished to the highest standards All are en-suite with flat screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, bottled water and biscuits, we are happy to organise any extras to be in your room on arrival, e.g. champagne, chocolates, please contact us directly and we will provide your exact requirements and organise payment to suit . Hairdryers, Wi-Fi, Flat screen TV, shower gel and shampoo is also provided. Irons and ironing boards are available upon request, please ask and we will bring them to your room for you. If you require anything else to make your stay more comfortable please just ask.

The Kings Head Inn is situated on the edge of the ancient town of Rye, 10 minutes to walk. Historical Rye is set in the East Sussex countryside, near to the town of Winchelsea, famous for smugglers! Rye's famous cobbled streets, antique shops and boutiques are a must. Enjoy the boats at the Harbour or simply watch the wildlife at the Nature Reserve. Camber Sands beach with white sand and sand dunes stretching for miles is a 10 minute drive. The pub is located on the side of the A268.
