Long Preston is a charming and peaceful village at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. In the village, you’ll find a friendly pub serving food daily, a walking shop, and a village store with a Post Office just two doors away. About a mile down the road is The Plough, a welcoming pub known for its delicious Sunday lunches and great food served throughout the week. Just three miles away lies Settle — a lovely market town with plenty to explore. Malham is right on the doorstep, and around a 20-minute drive away you’ll find a delightful cheese and wine shop (The courtyard Dairy) that also serves the most incredible pizzas. The nearest Co-op supermarket is just a 15-minute drive away, and the bustling market town of Skipton is about 20 minutes by car. The Yorkshire Dales truly offer some of the most stunning and scenic countryside in all of England.
