Shaftesbury is a Picturesque Saxon Hill Top Town we are located just a few minutes walk from the main town center, We are surrounded by some of the best English Countryside with wonderful views over the Cranborne Chase & Blackmore Vale. Shaftesbury has a range of stylish individual shops along with the Famous cobbled Street of Gold Hill (made famous by Hovis Advert). Shaftesbury itself sits in the middle of 3 world heritage sites (Stonehenge, Bath & the Jurassic Coast) so makes it the ideal stopover on a tour of this part of England. Shaftesbury is a very safe area although not ideal for Kids as the is not much in the town for Children although Longleat Safari park & House & Monkey World are both a short drive away along with Fleet air arm Museum & Haynes Motor Museum for those rainy days.
