Company info

We pride ourselves in providing a warm, friendly welcome to all our guests. We have three acres of lovely gardens at Lambriggan for you to enjoy, so we spend a lot of our time gardening (which we love). We also have orchards and livestock. Gary is a historian, specialising in Cornish social and rural history, while Fiona runs a training business alongside the work at Lambriggan. In our spare time we love walking along the nearby cliffs and beaches, as well as visiting historic properties in the area.

Property info

Lambriggan Court is a delightful award wining rural property with five cottages in eight acres of beautiful grounds. It is very private and peaceful yet close to Cornwall's Atlantic Coast and handy for beaches, cliffs and lovely fishing villages. St Agnes and Perranporth are both about 10 minutes away by car. There are excellent walks directly from the cottages, including to the beach in about 40 minutes and a delightful local pub in 25 minutes. We provide free eggs every morning from our free range hens and ducks, and apple juice is available from our own orchards. The cottages are all Grade II listed and have been carefully and sympathetically renovated to provide modern facilities in a traditional environment. We get great guest feedback - in fact more than half our guests have stayed with us at least twice and many come back every year. We do not take children and do not allow dogs (with the exception of designated assistance dogs). In 2023 we won a Visit England Rose award for outstanding customer service, and also a Cornwall Tourism Award for self catering properties.

Neighborhood info

Lambriggan is a small hamlet of just four properties close to the north Cornwall coast. It is in a quiet countryside setting, with lovely views and walks, yet very handy for all that Cornwall has to offer. Lambriggan Court is located away from public roads and the approach is along a farm track which is mostly level and can be used by all types of vehicle. After a day out exploring the local area guests love returning to the peace and quiet of Lambriggan. There are two outstanding local, traditional pubs with great food situated just over a mile away and the villages of St Agnes and Perranporth are about 10 minutes by car. Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm with its lovely bar and restaurant is just over half a mile away. The local beaches are stunning, especially Trevaunance Cove, Chapel Porth and at Perranporth. And the cliffs at St Agnes Head will take your breath away. Lambriggan has a rich history and was once home to Thomas Tonkin who was said by some to be the inspiration for Ross Poldark.
