Nothing says holidays like a hot tub. After dinner’s done, fire up the bubbles & watch the panoramic view of the sun setting over the lake from your private secure deck. Perched on the water’s edge, Lapwing Lake Lodge is a chic New England-style retreat for 6 plus pooch. The pretty clapper board-style exterior & fantastic water-front setting make a brilliant first impression. The convenience of the location within steps of a family-friendly lakeside brasserie, gym & a great children's play area come a close second. Located on Spring Lake, our lake house has prime position in the Cotswold Water Park. The lake house has been stylishly renovated to mirror its setting, offering super lake views from inside & out. Downstairs, it’s fully open plan complemented by stunning bi-folding doors that stretch across the back of the house. They ensure the house is filled with light, showing the lake off in all its charming glory. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a full length window overlooking the lake, allowing you the same stunning views. There are two further twin/double bedrooms with 5' zip and link beds. These are tight rooms and have limited storage. There is a family bathroom. Extra care has been taken families & you will find lots of special touches for little ones. Please note: The holiday lodge is situated on a water ski lake and watersport sessions can start at 9am and end at 7.50pm during high season. The perfect location for a family activity holiday and adrenaline seekers, there is an international half-mile-long water-ski course, wakeboarding and inflatable rides to enjoy

Within a minute’s stroll is the Lakeside Brassiere with a relaxed family restaurant & lakeside terrace. A fully air conditioned gym is located above the brasserie. Within 50 metres of the lodge is a large children’s play area. Lakeside Ski & Wake offer wakeboard & waterski lessons, as well as fun rides for all the family on their ringos & inflatables - irresistible to most families in the summer months, from beginners to experts. Next to the house is a small shingle beach area popular with little ones for paddling. From the deck you can feed swans & ducks that are very friendly. Located opposite Spring Lake is the South Cerney Outdoor Education Centre which offers sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding & courses. Bike hire, angling & the biggest inland beach in the UK are all within 2 miles. The lodge is ideally situated for exploring the towns & villages of the beautiful Cotswolds, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water & Moreton-in-the-Marsh. Cirencester known as ‘The Capital of the Cotswolds’, is 4 miles. Appealing to children, the nearby Cotswold Wildlife Park, the numerous attractions at Bourton-on-the-Water & Cotswold Farm Park provide plentiful entertainment.
