Recently shown on episode 1 of The Hairy Bikers Go North as the accommodation for Si and Dave during their visit to Lancashire. Our spacious 17th century farmhouse is situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley. This beautiful, stone-built detached property oozing traditional charm. Generous living spaces for groups. Ideal venue for family / friend birthday gatherings and can recommend chefs for private dining. We are also right on the doorstep of many popular wedding venues in the area.
I am a country girl with a love of the outdoors. I love peace and tranquillity but not to be too far from the social scene. I am married to a farmer and between us we run a farm and are owners of The Out Barn, wedding venue. We have 2 adult sons one of which runs The Out Barn with our team. In addition we are passionate about sustainability and the environment. Everything you see and visit whilst staying with us we have developed over the last 30 years - Clough Bottom has been our passion as well as our livelihood. We live on site, in one of the converted barns and enjoy welcoming our guests to the farm. We hope you enjoy our home and all we ask is please respect it as it is our pride and joy. Harry and I live on site in one of the barn conversions so we are available during your stay unless we are away when we will leave instructions. When we are here, we will check you in and show you round so that you know how everything works. Prior to your stay we will send you full check in information.
Local gastro pubs within walking distance. Market town of Clitheroe with Castle and traditional markets on Tuesdays, Thursdays an Saturday.
