Lavender Cottage is a very snug, homely cottage on the outskirts of the village of Carsphairn. It is situated between Loch Ken and Loch Doon, both 20 minutes drive away, within the vast forest park. This is a very beautiful, tranquil part of Scotland, and is ideally situated to cater for all activities within country life. There are stunning views from the cottage windows (see below), which you can enjoy whilst relaxing beside the log fire. If you are feeling more active you can enjoy the walking, cycling, fishing, golf, sight seeing and water sport opportunities all available locally. The village shop, post office and heritage centre are all nearby. Ideal cottage to stay in only two hours away for the upcoming Edinburgh Festival. Certificate of Excellence as recommended by Trip Advisor 2017 Pets are welcome The cottage is 30 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from the shops.
