Tehidy is an independent, family owned and run holiday park . Closest to our heart is the Green Tourism Gold award. We’ve always seen Tehidy Holiday Park as being an extension of our natural surroundings and have always held an eco conscience at the heart of all we do. Nestled in a wooded valley 2 miles from stunning beaches, local cycle routes and easy access to the coastal footpath. Near to Portreath and Porthtowan beaches, approximately half way between St Ives and St Agnes. Tehidy Holiday Park offers self catering holiday caravans and cottages and wigwam camping cabins. Tehidy Holiday Park has been voted Best Holiday Caravan and Lodge Site in UK 2023. Our beautiful Green Tourism Gold Award park is set out to be an extension of the Cornish countryside. A quiet and peaceful get away in a perfect setting for exploring Cornwall. What our AA inspector says in their report 'There is so much to admire at Tehidy Holiday Park, not least of which being the attention to detail and pride which underpins all aspects. There is such a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere here, no doubt much appreciated by guests. Pitches well presented with good screening ensuring privacy for guests. The central area is a lovely asset and no doubt much enjoyed by families.,,,' One car is expected and has a reserved space for it - there's no need to ask. Additional cars should be requested. We don't take work vans To ensure our guests have a relaxed time we do restrict check in to 8pm. Please do contact us before booking if you think you may be later than this. Our self catering accommodation have bed linen and towels as an optional extra, you can book the bed linen and towel package by contacting us directly, for a small fee per person. Otherwise you will need to bring sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases.
Tehidy Holiday Park has been a family owned and run holiday park for over 20 years. We have developed our beautiful park with sustainability, quality and good value as the central ethos. Tehidy blends with our beautiful local environment. Our fantastic team of staff who are committed to what they do and make the Park a wonderful setting for a break or longer holiday. We offer a safe, clean and couples or family friendly location for exploring Cornwall. Our enviable setting near Portreath and Porthtowan beaches allows easy access to all the main destinations. On arrival we will even help with ideas for places to eat out, take aways, public transport and even ideas for a road trip. In our free time you'll find us walking, on the beach, kayaking or during the winter I'm in the hills.
Illogan our local village is the home to Demelza Poldark, for all the Poldark fans. It is a lovely historic village with shops, take aways, a chemist and a doctors surgery, plus a pub which does good food. Redruth is nearby and has large shops, railway station and bus services. Head to the coast and amongst the miles of gorgeous coastline demarcated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty you'll find wide sandy bays and little tucked away coves. Being so central in Cornwall means you can be anywhere in Cornwall from Lands End, Padstow or the Eden Project within 35 - 40 minutes. All the main attractions are in easy reach. While there are bus and train services in Cornwall we do recommend a car for ease of travel.
