The house is situated in Kinross in a quiet residential area and which is a short walk from the beautiful Loch Leven. It is a short walk to all the facilities including restaurants and pubs. Kinross is ideally situated to visit Glasgow, Edinburgh or the North. Edinburgh is only 30 minutes drive or leave the car and take the bus which you can get 5 minutes walk from the house. The area itself is great for walking and just getting out in the fresh air.

There are a number of excellent restaurants that you can easily walk to. The house is situated in a nice quiet part of Kinross but still close to the centre. The nearest one is the Green which has a great selection of meals or if just a drink there is a bar there. The Muirs has a great selection of food all day as well as a bar for drinks. There is a bus service to Perth and to Aberdeen but a must is a visit to Edinburgh by bus from the nearby bus station. This takes an hour and the service runs till late. You can walk right round (or cycle) Loch Leven which is 13.9 miles. There are also many other places of interest nearby, such as Dollar with Castle Campbell, Falkland with Falkland Palace with many walks either level or more hilly. Whatever you prefer
