The Long Barn is a beautifully converted stone barn situated above the Wye Valley, Monmouth with picturesque views over the Black Mountains and beyond. It's an ideal location for relaxing or walking and cycling straight from the door. Well behaved pets are very welcome. Guests are welcome to use the EV charger at the Long Barn for a small cost. ​ The property has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and one en-suite, kitchen and lounge area and sleeps 7. Other features include oak flooring, log burner, wet room and South facing patio area with seating, barbecue and fire pit. The spacious open-plan living space has plenty of seating for your group. ​Well behaved pets are welcome. We also offer the opportunity to hire out a hot tub (contact us for details) which allows you to enjoy the views across to the Black Mountains into Wales. ​We are proud to have been awarded a 4* rating by Visit Wales. Many of our previous guests have commented on the authentic feel of the barn which has been tastefully renovated with wood flooring throughout and stone features retained.

We have lived in Monmouthshire for 30 years and our family has grown up here. We love receiving guests and their positive feedback reminds us of how lucky we are to live in this area.

The Long Barn is located on the Kymin, a hill overlooking Monmouth with spectacular views into Wales and towards the Black Mountains. This is a rural location and we welcome families, groups of friends and couples (and their pets) to the beautiful English Welsh border country. There are walks straight from the door into the Forest of Dean and along the Wye Valley.
