Located on the NC500 route, this property will provide all you need, whether you plan a short or long stay. It is an ideal base to explore the North-Eastern Highlands, known for its rugged landscapes, abundant wildlife and pristine beaches. Even catch the Aurora if conditions permit! It's a perfect stop when travelling between Inverness and John o' Groats. The space is well equipped for short or long stays, having a small kitchen, complete with a sink, a 2-ring electric hob, a fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, and all pots, pans and utensils. Basic tea and coffee are also provided. There is a comfy double bed and a large sofa that can open out to another double bed, if required. A dining table and chairs, an en-suite shower room, with towels provided. A wood burning stove is the only heating source. It's generally only needed during the winter season and will keep you toasty on even the coldest of nights. Free unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi is available with speeds up to 300 MB/S. Ideal for those needing internet access for work while away. There are also a couple of outside seating areas with a fire pit to enjoy the views on a nice evening! A few things that are not provided are an oven/microwave in the kitchen, shampoo/shower gel for the shower and there is no TV. Please note there are two rooms on site, each private but adjacent to one another. They are part of a converted garage and have been finished to a high standard. Loth is a small hamlet, set between the villages of Brora and Helmsdale. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, wonderful views and miles of sandy pristine beaches. It is a small crofting community with lots of livestock. There are beautiful walks along the nearby beaches or up the hills behind. Nearby Glen Loth is worth exploring for those who want to get off the beaten path. The nearest amenities would be in Brora (5 miles) which has a few shops, including a co-op and a few good eating options. Helmsdale (4 miles) also has a village shop and a few good eating options, including the famous La Mirage fish and chips.
