I bought the farm in 2016 when it was derelict and have renovated the Grade II*-listed farmhouse into a B&B. I've also created five holiday cottages and a livery stables. I love sharing this beautiful place with my guests. I'll generally leave you to your own devices but hopefully we'll get the chance to say hello at some point. Our self-catering cottages are in the same location as the award-winning Cusgarne Manor B&B which is in a peaceful, rural setting between Falmouth and Truro with easy access to both coasts and the whole of Cornwall. Lowenna has the same comfortable bed as the B&B and is an ideal bolt-hole for a couple with the option of accommodating one other on the sofa-bed. It's also dog-friendly with its own secure garden and great walking nearby. The kitchen is well-equipped and designed for guests to make the most of the beautiful ingredients available locally. Lowenna has been designed with manual wheelchair users in mind. There is a wide parking space right next to the building with level, smooth access. The kitchen is great for cooking if you're in a wheelchair and the lounge area has a choice of a firm sofa or a riser-recliner chair. The bathroom has a raised toilet with supports for transfer and a wheel-in shower with seat and grab bars.

We're in a peaceful valley outside Cusgarne village. Within half a mile is an organic farm shop and the nearest pub is a mile. There is rolling farmland to the south and fascinating mining heritage to the north, both of which can be explored on foot from the doorstep. We are 6 miles from each coast. Cusgarne Manor is the perfect base for exploring the whole of Cornwall by car as we’re halfway between the coasts near Truro and Falmouth, and only 3 miles from the A30. Ideally you need a car or bike to get around this area. The nearest train stations are Perranwell Station and Redruth and there are buses from Frogpool and Gwennap villages (1 mile away each). There are two pub/restaurants which are walkable (about a mile away each).
