This gate house, in a peaceful country wooded setting, is only 20 minutes drive from the centre of Edinburgh. A fully modernised and completely renovated cottage on two levels, to sleep 6/8, it is a perfect base to explore Edinburgh and to travel with easy access to the west and the islands, South Queensferry & the bridges, leading to Fife and the north of Scotland. Set in a large wooded garden with parking for 3 cars, this is a comfortable fully fitted gem of a cottage with magnificent views of the Pentland Hills.
We are born and brought up in Scotland, have lived in Edinburgh for 40+ years. We have brought this gate house back to life with lots of love, care and renovation and want to show visitors to Edinburgh what is fantastic about the city, and the surrounding areas of Scotland that we love.
