Lundie View was originally a croft house built in 1850 then later used a the village post office in 1930. We have recently refurbished throughout and now has a bright and modern feel but still remains full of character and charm. There are 4 comfy letting rooms all fitted with new en-suite shower rooms. There is a breakfast room which has amazing views over The Great Glen, where you'll enjoy our selection of fruit ,cereal, yogurts, and a cooked breakfast, plus tea, coffee and juices. We have a beautiful wrap around garden with is own burn and large decking area with seating and stunning views. If you want to explore there is a beautiful walk over the deer fence at the back of the house, one path takes you up to give you amazing views over the Caledonian Canal and Loch Oich, the other takes you down to Loch Oich (if you can climb over a gate).

Alan and I gave up our day jobs in London in February 2019 to move to the Scottish Highlands to become B & B owners, our first year was amazing we welcomed so many lovely guests and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. 2020 has been challenging for everyone but we hope we've made the best of a bad situation and look forward to getting back to a 2019 year again.

We are ideally located for Fort William and Inverness, just minutes from The Caledonian Canal, Loch Oich and the Bridge of Oich. 10 minuites drive from Fort Augustus, 1 hour from Skye Bridge and Neptunes Stair Case, Glen Finnan Viaduct. There are some beautiful walks right on our door step. Just a few minutes towards Fort Augustus, park in the Cemetery car park walk through the Cemetery over the wall and follow signs to Lady Falls, you'll see deer and an amazing water fall and its a beautiful walk along the river not too hilly, but can be boggy. Towards Invergarry there are two walks one takes you around the river Garry the other up to beautiful waterfalls with a perfect picnic spot half way. We are situated out of the village so you will need to drive to the pub and restaurants, The Jaggy Thistle Stop Cafe is next door for lovely food and soft drinks and gifts, they open from 08.30 to 17.00 every day except Tuesday and Wednesday. There is also adventure nearby activehighs South Laggan for kayaking and canoeing, (we advise you book before you come) you can also hire bikes at the local hardware store, great fun for all the family.
