Situated right on the shore, we have direct access to a huge swatch of beautiful coastline. Lusa Bothy is a real mix of the old and the new and has been renovated and up cycled with great care. It's been transformed from an old animal byre into a cosy little place for two. We hope you find it welcoming and comfortable and find all our quirky little touches and attention to detail interesting and inventive.

We love walking our dogs, Angus, Neasa & Bella along the shoreline and looking after our croft animals. We have Hebridean, Shetland and Blackface sheep, chickens so we can have fresh eggs everyday and a herd of Highland coos. You can find them roaming the coastline, munching on seaweed and just waiting to have their pictures taken! We also have pigs, goats, donkeys, cats, a Highland pony called Donan and a Freisian mare called Bonnie Dhannsair We run yoga and kettlebell classes in and around the area (in case you feel like doing some stretching and exercising on your holiday) and are great foodies and lovers of the countryside so we often go galavanting off to find a new place to eat or discover - luckily we are spoilt for this on Skye and there are still lots of places we haven't been yet.....there's time!

We are very lucky to live on such a beautiful island. It's especially gorgeous when the sun is out but no matter the weather, even if we get 4 seasons in a day, the light is always amazing and there's always somewhere to go and something to do. And because we are so close to the Skye Bridge there is the mainland to discover as well.
