A little further along the road The Coldstones Cut Yorkshire's biggest and highest public artwork, a massive construction to be explored and offers spectacular views of Nidderdale, overlooking the huge working Coldstones Quarry. A 20 minute drive to picturesque Bolton Abbey, priory ruins on the banks of the river Wharfe, with plentiful space to enjoy a picnic and many walks, often hosting special outdoor events. A short drive South the busy market town of Skipton, the southern gateway to the dales, where you will find Bizzie Lizzies's award winning fish and chips, the impressive Skipton Castle standing proud at the top of the high street, or book a trip on the Skipton Canal to see the gorgeous scenery from a different angle.
