The house is in Brierfield, a small town in Pendle, Lancashire, sitting between Burnley and Nelson. It has a local, everyday feel, with shops and dining close by and easy access for getting around the wider area. For a slower pace, the Leeds and Liverpool Canal runs through Brierfield and is ideal for a simple towpath walk, and if you’re heading out by car, Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside make a popular nearby escape. A car is helpful for exploring, and the M65 is close for straightforward routes towards Blackburn and Preston, or towards Colne and Skipton, with Skipton around a twenty-five minute drive in typical conditions. Brierfield railway station is on the East Lancashire Line with services towards Burnley, Accrington, Blackburn and Preston, and towards Colne, with Burnley very quick by train at around four minutes to Burnley Central, and there are also frequent local buses. Manchester Airport is roughly thirty-seven miles away and typically around one hour by car.
