We require full electrical, gas and other safety certificates to be updated annually by the owners. Market Place Cottage is a spacious three bedroom holiday home in the heart of Woodstock, just a short walk from Blenheim Palace and estate. The former Georgian town house was built around 1750 and the classic features, such as exposed beams and timber, have been kept throughout the home. The home is spread across two floors with one of the bedrooms being on the first floor; this bedroom has an en-suite and its own private balcony. The two remaining bedrooms are located on the second floor. The fully fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar with two stools and the living room is spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a busy day exploring Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire and beyond. The home benefits from a small balcony with table and chairs, allowing you to enjoy the warmer weather in the summer months and Blenheim Park is only five minutes away. Woodstock has enormous historical interest with the magnificent Blenheim Palace, birthplace of Winston Churchill, located in the centre, just two minutes walk from the cottage. Visitors to the palace can take a walk around the 2,000 acres of landscaped parkland and beautiful formal gardens or take a picnic by the great lake. Woodstock is located approximately eight miles outside of Oxford city centre to the North West of the city. Access to the city centre is easy and convenient by bus or by car. Woodstock makes the perfect location to explore the Cotswolds area and other cities of England such as London and Bath. London is now only 50 minutes by train from Oxford Parkway (a ten minute drive).
