Merrion Cottage is a cosy 1860 stone cottage for two, tucked into a quiet village in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia). Curl up by the wood burner after a day in the mountains, wander out the back gate to the village pub, and fall asleep under some of the darkest skies in Britain. Snowdon, waterfalls and steam railways are all close by. Dog-friendly and full of character, aka your perfect Welsh escape. Croeso!

Penmachno is just 3 miles from Betws y Coed with its cafes and shopping. It is a quiet village, ideally located for mountain walking, biking and other outdoor activities throughout Eryri (Snowdonia). Portmeirion, the Italian-style village, and the heritage railways are only a short drive away, as are the beaches of the Cambrian Coast.
