Middle Woodbatch Farm is located 5 minutes from the quaint market town of Bishops Castle. We are a working family run farm in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The farmhouse was built in the early 1700s & was restored 10 years ago, retaining many original features. We have 2 en-suit b&b rooms and have also added a glamping pod. IF you have problems with stairs, maybe we are not suitable for you as both our guest rooms are upstairs. Both b & b rooms have spacious tiled en-suit facilities & hairdryer. Both rooms have a kettle & a selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate & bottle water, biscuits etc. Guests have a fridge/ freezer to use, located in guest lounge. Guests have use of the garden with a BBQ & trampoline for the kids. If you would like to know anything about the farm or have a tour round, please ask and this can be arranged. We ask guests to make themselves at home & if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please do not be afraid to ask.

We have been running the b & b since 2007. We both enjoy the countryside, my husband Steve has been here all his life & the farm has been in the same family since the 1930s. I moved to Shropshire over 30 years ago from Surrey, after traveling & living abroad in Yemen. We have 2 children, who help around the farm & with our guests. Our interests are the countryside, walking, wildlife, swimming, horse riding, cooking & travel.

Our rural location offers lots for our guests. Peace & quiet, & wonderful views, lots of wildlife to watch, Walkers, cyclists & horse riders will find lots of signed paths to explore. Bishops Castle is only 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes walk, with 6 pubs & 2 breweries, lots of shops & lovely old buildings. Church Stretton & Ludlow are only 25 minutes by car, lots to see & do Shrewsbury is our biggest town is 45 minutes by car. Shropshire has lots of castles, old houses, beautiful countryside & friendly locals.
