This is a super luxury large glamping lodge featuring a large open plan kitchen-dining-sitting-room; a completely separate bedroom with walk around double bed and floor to ceiling walk in wardrobe and a shower room with power shower. All linen and towels are provided and a welcome pack to set your holiday off to a good stress free start. There is a lovely deck where you can sip a glass of wine looking out over horses to the countryside of Strathspey. We are a small horse farm located in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park on the edge of the RSPB Abernethy Bird Reserve. The nature reserve is the largest remaining area of natural Caledonian pine wood in Europe. We have two glamping pods which are brand new for the 2022 season and set in a small wild flower meadow which should be established and flowering in 2023. This is the perfect retreat if you enjoy peace and quiet, activity holidays like sailing, mountain biking, walking and skiing in the Winter. The area abounds in wildlife and has been frequently featured on BBC Springwatch because of the richness of the ecosystem in the Cairngorms. Nethy Bridge is known as the forest village as it is situated on the edge of the Abernethy RSPB nature reserve. The reserve is the largest remaining area of natural Scots Caledonian pinewood left in Scotland. We are about 2 miles from Loch Garten where Ospreys have been coming for many years to nest and raise their young. The Cairngorm National Park offers a wide variety of activities including mountain biking, sailing and windsurfing, climbing and skiing, horse riding, walking and plenty of wildlife and photography opportunities.
